The 400 Year old Gompa Monastery of Menchukha,Arunachal Pradesh,India. The monastery is next to Tawang Monastery. Menchukha is a must visit spiritual place too.







This place is known as Hanuman Camp. One can have a view of Lord Hanuman's face from this view point,The connection of nature with almighty.











the valley of Menchukha, you will find this Gurudwara. Legends has to say that while travelling to Tibet, Guru Nanak stopped at the origin of the river Siyom and meditated at a cave.

Menchukha (NE India)

Menchukha is a village in North Arunachal Pradesh, India. The name Men-chu-kha means medicinal water of snow where men is medicine, chu is water and kha is snow, though kha also means mouth. Its a paradise with scenic natural beauties like a paradise on earth.





The valley of Menchukha from a hilltop. The Siyom River, known for its medicinal value flows through this valley. It is believed that the waters of this River can help in curing diseases. The River is pleasant for rafting.

He named this land as 'Miung-Dun-Sun-Kham'. Seeing the majestic beauty of this land with golden crops all around, the first Tai Ahom prince who came from "Miung Mao" of China in 1228 to NE India & established a Tai Kingdom, named it so which means 'The land of golden crops".
And  even today it continues to be the land where the crops blossoms golden adding to be another ingredient of  beauty of this land.

The "BRAHMAPUTRA", also known as "YARLUNG TSANGPO" (In Tibetian Language)" , Siang or Dihang(in Arunachal Pradesh,India),(Luit in Assamese), "BURLUNG BUTHUR" ( in Boro language of Assam) is the only 'male' river in India. The decisive glance of mighty BRAHMAPUTRA will make your mind feel with calm and serenity.The BRAHMAPUTRA stretches its arms and takes all the evils with it so that the mankind can undertake a new day with new hopes and aspirations. Its giant water resources provide a healthy ecosystem to the aquatic plants & animals of NE. During the sunrise & sunset time this river reflects the sunshine & spreads its glimpses in to the whole beauty land. And remember, such kind of decisive and alluring sight can only be seen in our NE-INDIA.

"Tongi Ghor" is a great addition to the farming culture of traditional farmers in NorthEast India. During the raining time they use this house  as a shelter. Sometime, in the night, farmers use this house as a base camp to save their cultivations from the wild predators. This house is also made off bamboos & 'Tongi Ghor' is a great addition in the scenic beauty of the traditional paddy fields in NE. So, hurry guys..
